The Orlando Magic's nine-game win streak was snapped on Saturday night against the Brooklyn Nets as a result of the Magic getting beat in nearly every single statistical category.

Mikal Bridges also finished with 42 points and was absolutely scorching hot from the field. Despite the tough loss, Paolo Banchero and Franz Wagner both said in their postgame interview that they believe that this win streak is something to learn from.

"You can't overlook it, I think it's something to be proud of as a team, and everyone in the locker room is," Banchero said. "But we also understand that we have a chance to bounce back and hopefully go on another streak. Obviously it's over, just ready to move on."

Those nine straight wins tied the franchise record, which the Magic has set a couple of different time, the most recent being in 2011. And even though the win streak happened, and it was good while it lasted, Wagner knows that the team has to move on and be better going forward.

"Like Paolo said, I think it's cool to acknowledge it and be proud of it," Wagner said. "But we don't want to just be good in early December, we gotta make sure we keep getting better, and hopefully start another one."

Magic to Be Tested By 'Tough Schedule'

The Magic is going to be looking to start a new win streak in the second and final game of a brief road trip. The team will be back in action on Wednesday against Donovan Mitchell and the Cleveland Cavaliers. Tipoff is set for 7 p.m. ET from Rocket Mortgage FieldHouse.
