The Orlando Magic has surprised a lot of people this season, and as a result, players might be more likely to want to come play for the team.

The Orlando Magic's start to the season has been a complete 180 from how the team played last season, especially at home.

Last season, the Magic had a less than impressive 20-21 record in Orlando, which is in stark contrast to how impressive the team has been at home this season.

So far this year, the Magic is 11-2 at home, and it has both made opposing teams wary of coming to Orlando, and has made many players want to play for the Magic. Center Wendell Carter Jr. spoke more about this in the most recent episode of Orlando Magic Pod Squad.

"I’ve heard people tell me they wouldn’t mind playing for the Magic…y’all got a really good squad going, and I wouldn’t mind being a part of that," Carter said. "When we pull up to your city, it’s going to be a dog fight."

Not only current NBA players are on record saying that Orlando is a hard place to play as an opposing team, but legends as well. Recent Hall of Fame inductee Kevin Garnett has said that the Magic is one of the toughest teams to play on the road. And that is absolutely proving to be true so far this season, and it is making people want to join the team.

The Magic will need to keep this momentum at home going, as the team is hoping to contend for one of the top spots in the Eastern Conference. The team will be back in action tonight again Jayson Tatum and the top-seeded Boston Celtics. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m. ET from TD Garden.
