LOOK: Mavs Full NBA Season Schedule Release; National TV Games

At long last, the NBA has released its schedule for the 2023-24 season. Here are some of the biggest highlights for the Dallas Mavericks’ schedule.

Although we’re in the “dead” part of the NBA offseason, the association never truly takes a break. It has become a year-round ordeal, and diehard basketball fans all over the world are grateful for that.

On Thursday, the NBA officially released its schedule for the 2023-24 season. Due to some schedule leaks from last week, we already knew the Dallas Mavericks will be taking on Victor Wembanyama and the San Antonio Spurs on the road to open the season. We also knew that Luka Doncic and Kyrie Irving will be trying to play the role of “The Grinch” this Christmas, as the Mavs will travel to the desert for a Christmas Day game against Kevin Durant, Devin Booker and the Phoenix Suns.

Here is what the entire Mavs schedule looks like, including four In-Season Tournament games against the Denver Nuggets, Los Angeles Clippers, New Orleans Pelicans and Houston Rockets in November:

The Mavs have 28 nationally televised games, including nine on ESPN and eight on TNT. Dallas also has nine games scheduled for NBA TV and two scheduled for ABC. The Mavs’ opening game against the Spurs and Christmas Day game against the Suns will both be on ESPN.

Starting lineups and overall rotations still need to be ironed out in training camp, which begins toward the end of September. Regardless of the pecking order, though, it will be interesting to get our first real look at Mavs newcomers Grant Williams, Seth Curry, Dereck Lively II, OMax Prosper, who did an exclusive sit-down interview with DallasBasketball.com on Wednesday, Dante Exum, Richaun Holmes and Derrick Jones Jr.

The NBA offseason still isn’t over, and there could still be some significant trades and free-agency signings take place between now and the start of the season. But the basketball calendar waits for no one, and NBA basketball is right around the corner yet again. Are you as excited as we are?
