Dallas Mavs Legend Dirk Nowitzki Reveals Lil Kim & Foxy Brown as Childhood Crushes

Dirk Nowitzki named his childhood crushes on the latest episode of “All The Smoke.”
In this story:

Dallas Mavericks legend Dirk Nowitzki recently sat down with former NBA players Stephen Jackson and Matt Barnes on the latest episode of "All The Smoke" to discuss a wide-ranging topics list. From his days leading up to the 1998 NBA Draft, to his biggest disappointments in 2006 and 2007, to his greatest triumph in 2011 with a championship, they talk about it all in this one.

One funny topic brought up, though, was when Nowitzki was about who his childhood crush was during the rapid fire part of the interview toward the end.

"Oh, shoot... childhood crush," Nowitzki said. "I mean, the 90's, it was Lil Kim and Foxy Brown."

Foxy Brown was flattered by Nowitzki admitting that he had a childhood crush on her and took to Instagram to show her appreciation ... while adding some humor in there as well.

Despite Nowitzki revealing old crushes, Foxy Brown and Lil Kim don't need to get any ideas, because the Hall of Famer has been off the market for over a decade now after marrying Jessica Olsson in 2012. The happy couple has three children, and Nowitzki also said in his "All The Smoke" interview that they're all just now really starting to get into their sports journeys with soccer and tennis.

After being inducted into the Naismith Memorial Basketball Hall of Fame over the summer, Nowitzki admits that the ceremony put a conclusion to "the first half" of his life, and he's excited to see what the second half has in store. If we're all lucky enough, we'll keep seeing Nowitzki open up with interviews like these going forward.
