NBA Betting: Mavs Top 3 Picks vs. Knicks: Luka Doncic Out as Jalen Brunson Returns to Dallas
Kyrie Irving and the Dallas Mavericks are home to host Jalen Brunson and the New York Knicks on Thursday night.
The Mavs' three-game winning streak was snapped on Tuesday as they fell to the undermanned Memphis Grizzlies, 120-103. Despite Irving and Luka Doncic combining for 64 points, Dallas couldn't slow down the Grizzlies without Ja Morant and Jaren Jackson Jr.
The Knicks are coming off their fifth straight win, blowing past the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday night, 112-84. Newcomer OG Anunoby led the way for New York in the win with 23 points on 9-of-12 shooting.
Notable Injuries
Mavericks: Grant Williams (right ankle sprain) is questionable. Dereck Lively II (left ankle sprain) and Maxi Kleber (right small toe dislocation) are doubtful. Luka Doncic (right ankle sprain) and Dante Exum (right plantar sprain) are out.
Knicks: Mitchell Robinson (left ankle surgery) is out.

Player Props / Our Picks
Kyrie Irving O/U 30.5 Points: Over
Irving has continued to play at his All-Star level since returning from a 12-game absence, averaging 30.3 points per game over the last four games. With Doncic out of the lineup, the ball will be in Irving's hands -- take the over.

Kyrie Irving O/U 12.5 Rebounds + Assists: Over
Since returning from injury, Irving has averaged 8.6 rebounds and 4.6 assists through five games. With Lively out of the lineup, Irving has continuously attacked the glass, grabbing at least eight rebounds in each contest.
Julius Randle O/U 27.5 Points: Over
Dallas native Julius Randle always seems to play his best when he matches up against the Mavericks, and with his recent play, averaging 29.6 points per game over the last six games, Randle should be able to feast against Dallas' undersized front line.
Prediction: With Doncic out and the Knicks rolling on a five-game winning streak, take New York -3.5 to get the road victory.
