Luka Doncic and the Dallas Mavericks hit the road to take on Anfernee Simons and the Portland Trail Blazers on Friday night.

The Mavs are fresh off a 50-point trouncing of the Utah Jazz on Wednesday night, 147-97. Doncic put on an absolute show, finishing with 40 points, 10 rebounds, and 11 assists while also notching a first half triple-double.

The Trail Blazers are coming off clutch time loss to the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday, 110-106. Simons and Shaedon Sharpe combined for 54 points in Portland's second straight loss.

Going into Friday night's matchup, Dallas will be without Maxi Kleber (right toe) and Josh Green (right elbow). For Portland, Jerami Grant is out (concussion protocol) and Deandre Ayton is doubtful (right knee) while Malcolm Brogdon (right knee) is questionable.

Player Props / Our Picks

Luka Doncic O/U 31.5 Points: Over

I mean, with the kind of roll that Doncic is on right now, why not? Doncic is fresh off his 40-point triple-double against the Jazz on Wednesday and is averaging 39 points per game over his last three. Take the over.

Dereck Lively II O/U 8.5 Points: Over

Lively is averaging 8.7 points per game so far this season and has scored 30 points combined in his last two games. Going up against Portland, who allows the third-most points in the paint this season and should be without Ayton, look for D-Live to hit the over.

Kyrie Irving O/U 1.5 Turnovers: Under

On the season, Irving is averaging a career-low 1.4 turnovers per game. In the last four games, Irving's turned the ball over just three times. Take the under.

Prediction: The Mavs are coming off their most impressive showing on the season with a 50-point win on Wednesday while Portland rides a two-game skid and potentially severely undermanned roster. Take Dallas -7.5 for the win.
