Anthony Davis' Injury Status for Lakers vs. Nuggets Game 4 Revealed
Anthony Davis is listed on the injury report for the Lakers for Game 4, but fans should expect him to play.
The Los Angeles Lakers have officially listed Anthony Davis as probable against the Denver Nuggets in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals with a right foot stress injury. Davis has been listed with the same injury all series and has played in every single game.
Throughout the series against the Denver Nuggets, Anthony Davis has been an absolute monster. He's averaging 28.7 points, 14.0 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks on 52/50/87 shooting. This has easily been Davis' best series throughout the Lakers' playoff run, but somehow, it's not transferring into wins. It says a lot about how much deeper the Denver Nuggets are than the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies that they're able to survive all of these big Anthony Davis games.
Of course, with how important Anthony Davis is for the Lakers, Nikola Jokic is even more important for the Denver Nuggets. Neither player can afford to have a bad game in this series for either team to have a shot at winning. For the Nuggets though, Jamal Murray has shown himself to be arguably even more important than Nikola Jokic during stretches of this series.
The Denver Nuggets and Los Angeles Lakers face off in Game 4 of the Western Conference Finals at 8:30 ET tonight.
