Bam Adebayo's Injury Status for Nuggets vs Heat Game 3 Revealed
For a third game straight, the Miami Heat have listed Bam Adebayo on their injury report, but fortunately, it looks like he will play in Game 3 vs the Denver Nuggets.
The Miami Heat have officially listed Bam Adebayo as available for Game 3 of the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets. The only potential injury he's listed with is right shoulder discomfort. It is the same injury he's been listed with during both Game 1 and 2, which he played through.
Bam Adebayo has been terrific for the Miami Heat in both Games 1 and 2. Throughout this series, he's averaging 23.5 points, 11.0 rebounds, 4.5 assists, and 1.0 blocks on 54% shooting. He still hasn't figured out a way to contain Nikola Jokic, but somehow, the Miami Heat figured out a way to defeat the Denver Nuggets in Game 2 on the road.
It felt like going into the series Bam Adebayo would be the X-Factor against the Denver Nuggets. While Adebayo is important, it seems like that role has changed throughout the series. If Game 2 proved anything, it's that the shooting of role players like Duncan Robinson, Caleb Martin, and Gabe Vincent is the biggest X-Factors for the Miami Heat. If it weren't for their suddenly hot shooting, then the Denver Nuggets would have firmly walked away with a win in Game 2.
The Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat tipoff for Game 3 of the NBA Finals at 8:30 PM ET.
