Bam Adebayo's Injury Status for Nuggets vs Heat Game 4 Revealed
Despite playing the last three games, Bam Adebayo is listed on the Miami Heat's injury report yet again.
The Miami Heat have officially listed Bam Adebayo as available with right shoulder discomfort in Game 4 of the NBA Finals against the Denver Nuggets. This is the same injury Adebayo was listed with during Games 1-3 but still played through. With that said, fans should definitely expect him to play in Game 4.
Adebayo put up a tremendous stat line in Game 3, but did have a rough time shooting - 22 points, 17 rebounds, 3 assists, but on 7/21 shooting. Throughout this series against the Denver Nuggets, he's currently averaging 23 points, 13 rebounds, and 4 assists on 47% shooting.
While Adebayo has been incredibly important to the Miami Heat and has been playing tremendous basketball, he's been thoroughly outmatched by Nikola Jokic throughout this series. Jokic is currently averaging 33 points, 14 rebounds, and 9 assists on 59/44/86 shooting. The numbers that Nikola Jokic is putting up in his matchup against Bam Adebayo legitimately sound like video game numbers. What Nikola Jokic has been doing is essentially the modern-day version of what Wilt Chamberlain did in the past - it's the closest thing we'll see to Wilt's numbers.
It's not exactly do-or-die time for the Miami Heat in Game 4, but it's the closest thing to it. The Heat will be looking to avoid a 3-1 deficit against the Denver Nuggets tonight at 8:30 pm ET.
