Bam Adebayo's Injury Status for Nuggets vs Heat Game 5 Revealed
Bam Adebayo has been active in Games 1-4 of the NBA Finals, but that doesn't mean he won't be listed on the injury report tonight.
The Miami Heat have officially listed Bam Adebayo as available to play with right shoulder discomfort. This is the same injury Adebayo has been listed with for the entirety of the NBA Finals, but he's played in every single game thus far. With that said, NBA fans should very much expect Bam Adebayo to play in Game 5 for the Miami Heat.
Game 4 of the NBA Finals was easily the worst game Adebayo has played in all of the finals. Once the final buzzer rang, Adebayo put up 20 points, 11 rebounds, 3 assists, 1 block, and 1 steal. While those numbers may sound great, it was an incredibly inefficient game from Adebayo - he shot 8/19 from the field and had 7 turnovers.
The Heat may have lost Game 4, but Adebayo still remains an incredibly important player in the series. The Heat's three-point shooting is their X-factor in the series, but Adebayo is still the most important individual player on the court for the Heat. If the Miami Heat wants to have any hopes of defeating the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 o the NBA Finals, then Adebayo will need to be better.
The Denver Nuggets and Miami Heat face off in Game 5 of the NBA Finals at 8:30 pm ET.
