Reporting for NBA on TNT, league insider Chris Haynes reported on Sunday afternoon that Los Angeles Lakers center Mo Bamba is expected to be available for Game 4 vs. the Denver Nuggets. Bamba has not yet played in this series, having been battling an injury, but the center is expected to be available for Game 4.

Bamba was acquired from the Orlando Magic at the trade deadline in exchange for Patrick Beverley, but appeared in just nine regular season games, and has played in just three playoff games so far.

The addition of Bamba to this Lakers roster was supposed to add a unique stretch-big to their bench unit, but injuries have not allowed that fit to materialize much. In 40 games with the Orlando Magic this season, Bamba averaged 7.3 PPG, and knocked down 39.8% of his threes on 2.7 attempts per game.

With Bamba available, it's unclear how much he will actually play, but he is expected to at least be an option for Darvin Ham and the Lakers in Game 4. One loss away from elimination, LA will need all hands on deck for this elimination game. As LeBron James mentioned after Game 3, the team needs to take things one game at a time, and keep their focus solely on getting one win.

Game 4 between the Lakers and Nuggets will begin at 5:30 PM PST in Los Angeles on Monday night.
