The Denver Nuggets protected their home court, winning Game 2 against the Los Angeles Lakers after trailing for most of the night. Jamal Murray came to life in the fourth quarter after struggling with his shot to begun the game, and shared his immediate reaction to the win during his on-court interview.

"Even when they went on runs we were able to adjust mid-game and make the necessary adjustments, so I thought we did a good job executing," Murray said. On playing the entire second half, Murray said, "I feel better we won. A win is a win, so I'm good after this."

On his fourth quarter, Murray said, "Just locking in. I missed some really good looks in the first half, my team told me to keep shooting, I was getting the looks I wanted. We knew they were gonna fall, so the good thing is I didn't stop shooting."

Murray said he expects the Lakers to come out aggressive in Game 3, backed by their home crowd. The Lakers have been perfect at home so far this postseason, and must protect their home court again if they want to avoid a 3-0 deficit after Game 3. It was a hard fought Game 2 between Denver and LA, and the series will now shift to Los Angeles where the Lakers have been unbeatable this postseason.
