LeBron James Reacts to Nuggets Ending Lakers' Season
The Denver Nuggets have officially defeated the Los Angeles Lakers in only four games during the Western Conference Finals. Denver advances to the NBA Finals, and for the Lakers, their season is over.
LeBron James was asked about the Nuggets after the game and had some incredibly high praise about Denver to say. The first thing he mentioned, was that both he and Anthony Davis agreed that the 2022-23 Denver Nuggets were one of the best teams they've ever faced.
"I think we came to the consensus, if not one of the best, then the best team we've played team in our four years," James said. "Well put together. They have scoring, shooting, playmaking, smarts, depth... Even when you guard [Jokic[ for one of the best possessions you could guard him, he puts the ball behind his head Larry Bird style... He did that four or five teams this series."
If there were any doubts, winning in four games should be a massive statement for the Denver Nuggets. They were the better team against the Los Angeles Lakers, nothing else. Both teams were healthy, both teams didn't have Game 7s in other rounds to tire them out, and the better basketball team won.
What lies ahead for the Denver Nuggets is a likely NBA Finals matchup against Jimmy Butler and the Miami Heat.
