Denver Nuggets head coach Michael Malone took a jab at LeBron James during an appearance on the Pat McAfee show, joking that he's thinking about retiring. In an Instagram post on Friday, James took what seemed to be a direct shot at Malone, saying, "In Europe for the last past few weeks minding my business and I hear I'm on your mind that much huh??? I mean I guess I see why... Enjoy your light but just know I'm the SUN."

The Nuggets swept the Los Angeles Lakers in the Western Conference Finals, making quick work of LA in route to their first NBA Finals appearance. The Nuggets of course went on to win it all, and have been celebrating their title over the last few days.

Some feel that the Nuggets are giving the Lakers too much attention after winning the title, but it's not a new development for championship teams to take jabs at opponents they faced earlier in the postseason. The same thing happened last year when the Golden State Warriors took shots at the Memphis Grizzlies following their championship run. At the end of the day, it's all banter, and the winner is allowed to talk as much as they want.

For LeBron James, he seemingly wants to Malone to know he saw the jab.
