Major Injury Update on Tyler Herro Revealed
Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro has not played since the opening game of these playoffs, but a recent update from ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowski revealed that Herro could make his return as early as Game 2 of the NBA Finals.
Herro suffered a hand injury in Game 1 against the Milwaukee Bucks which has sidelined him since then, but according to Wojnarowski, the Heat guard will test out his hand prior to Game 2, and could return as early as then. Should Herro not return for Game 2, Wojnarowski said there is a level of confidence he will be ready for Game 3, which will be in Miami.
The Heat have done incredibly well to make it this far without one of their leading scorers, but this Denver team is a challenge that Miami has not seen yet. Adding a dynamic scorer back into the rotation projects to be huge for the Heat as they look to take down a Nuggets team that has been dominant all season and postseason.
When Herro first suffered his hand injury, it was looking like he could be done for the season, but Miami's Finals run has given him the time he needed to recover. Now potentially one game from a return, Herro has to be excited to play in the NBA Finals after first experiencing it in the bubble in 2020.
