Upon completion of the NBA Finals, Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic plans to buy a horse. Speaking with ESPN's Malika Andrews, Jokic said he is likely buying a horse after the Finals conclude, win or lose.

A simple man outside of basketball, Jokic likes horses and family time. This was part of his answer after the Western Conference Finals when asked how he was going to spend his break before the NBA Finals, saying, "Probably watch my friends race horses in Italy, be around my family, hopefully it's gonna be sunny so I can be outside, swimming pool, so relaxing."

One win away from beginning his offseason, Jokic is on the verge of NBA history entering Game 5 of the Finals. Having already broken numerous records this postseason, Jokic can become the first player in NBA history to lead an entire playoff run in total points, rebounds, and assists.

While Jokic does not care about personal recognition or accolades, it's his individual greatness that has allowed the Nuggets to trust the process and continue building around him and Jamal Murray. One win away from a championship, that patience and trust is close to paying off in the biggest way possible.

Hosting Game 5 at home, the Nuggets do not want this series to return to Miami for Game 6. Looking to close this out tonight, Jokic and the Nuggets are on the verge of history.
