Nikola Jokic's Status vs. Nets Revealed
The Denver Nuggets are set to face the Brooklyn Nets on Friday night, and they will have Nikola Jokic available, per the injury report. Denver has won their last two games, which has them three games back of the Minnesota Timberwolves for the top spot in the Western Conference, and just a half-game back of the Oklahoma City Thunder for the second seed.
The Nets are in a much different situation, having lost four-straight games to drop to 13-14 on the year. While Brooklyn has hit a bit of a skid, they are still a tough team that has playoff aspirations. Not the group they were when Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, and James Harden were around, these Nets still play hard and have some talented pieces.
For the Nuggets, they are looking to win their third-straight game, which would put them 10 games above .500 at 20-10. While things haven’t always been smooth for Denver to start the year, their floor is very high, which allows them to survive some ups and downs while still being one of the best teams in the NBA. This game for the Nuggets is the second of a three game road trip, which will end when the team comes back home to face the Golden State Warriors on Christmas.
