With the Miami Heat facing elimination in Game 5 of the NBA Finals, scoring guard Tyler Herro has been upgraded to available after missing the first four games of the series. Herro has been dealing with a hand injury that was sustained in the opening game of the first round against the Milwaukee Bucks.

Facing elimination against a Denver Nuggets team that is dominant at home, Miami will need a lot from everybody in this one. While Herro will likely be somewhat limited, he has now been upgraded to available, meaning he should see time on the court.

The Heat did steal a game in Denver earlier this series, winning Game 2 before dropping Games 3 and 4 at home. Down 3-1, the Heat are taking this deficit one game at a time, with their sole focus currently being on getting this series back to Miami for Game 6.

It's unclear what type of load the Heat will place on Herro in his first game back, but it is hard to expect much from him after such an extended absence. Returning from an injury is always difficult, but doing it in an NBA Finals elimination game is pretty much unheard of. For Herro, he just wants to help his team in any way he can, as there is no tomorrow if the Heat cannot win this one.
