It has been a historically great postseason or Nikola Jokic so far, and perhaps no stat illustrates that like where his current per game averages rank in NBA history. Currently averaging 30.6 PPG, 13.1 RPG, and 9.5 APG, Jokic is on pace to become the first player ever to post those averages across an entire playoff run.

Just shy of averaging a triple-double this postseason, Jokic has already tallied multiple during this playoff run, passing Wilt Chamberlain for the most career playoff triple-doubles by a center in NBA playoff history. When informed of this stat by the NBA on TNT crew following Game 5, Jokic shared a hilarious reaction, asking if Shaquille O'Neal is on that list.

Shaq gave an incredible answer back, joking that he never passed the ball enough to make that list. Often the primary play initiator for Denver, Jokic facilitates out of the center position, and does so at a historic level. His greatness has Denver one win away from the Western Conference Finals, where they would play the winner of the Lakers vs. Warriors series.

Always more concerned with wins than his own personal numbers, Jokic hopes to win his first NBA championship this season. With Jokic and his teammates playing at this level, there is certainly reason to believe that Denver can make a serious run at a title.
