Indiana Pacers trade deadline rumor tracker
The NBA trade deadline is February 8, which is fast approaching. With January 15 in the rearview mirror, most players around the league can be traded.
That's why trade talks begin to heat up in the association around this time of year. In the last three weeks, the Indiana Pacers acquired Pascal Siakam, the New York Knicks grabbed OG Anunoby, and the Wizards and Pistons made a smaller trade involving Marvin Bagley III. Teams are beginning to make tweaks.
The Pacers already made a big move with the Siakam addition, but they still have things to consider entering the trade deadline. They have a somewhat crowded frontcourt, two (possibly three) non-Siakam expiring contracts, and three 2024 second-round picks to think about in the coming days.
Indiana may be done making transactions already and can figure out all of that stuff in June or July. But they have movement possibilities to chew on, and the front office will be busy in the coming weeks leading up to the early February deadline.
Here is a tracker of credible reports from established NBA insiders that mention possible transactions the Pacers may be considering. Reports or notes shared prior to Indiana's trade for Siakam will be noted as the team's plans may have shifted since then.

Prior to the Pacers' trade for Pascal Siakam, Marc Stein of The Stein Line and Jake Fischer on the No Cap Room podcast both reported that the Pacers were considered a team that could pursue Andrew Wiggins. Fischer also reported on Indiana's past pursuit of Jonathan Kuminga.

The Pacers have confidence they can re-sign Pascal Siakam during the offseason
This is more of a free agency note as well, but keeping Siakam long-term will influence what Indiana may do in the coming weeks. Both Wojnarowski and Andscape's Marc Spears had details on this, and more reports stating something similar have emerged since.
This report came from Marc Stein just a few days before the Pacers traded for Siakam and sent out three-first round draft picks. Dishing out that many picks changes the dynamics here, but Hield's expiring contract once again is a factor to monitor, as are his contract extension possibilities.
Some within the NBA are curious if the Indiana Pacers would part with rookie forward Jarace Walker
HoopsHype reported that NBA personnel are curious about what the Pacers are thinking with 2023 top-10 selection Jarace Walker. Both Wojnarowski and Stein, however, explained that they believe the Pacers hope to keep him. Each report came before Siakam joined the blue and gold.
