The Houston Rockets are back in the loss column following a 128-119 loss to the Milwaukee Bucks on Sunday evening at the Fiserv Forum.

The loss snapped a five-game win streak for the Rockets that spanned all the way from Dec. 6.

There's no such thing as moral losses in professional sports, and the Rockets certainly don't feel that at the moment. However, something should be said about their progress considering they were able to hang with the Bucks, one of the Eastern Conference's best teams, right up until the end of the game.

The Rockets brought the deficit to within four points in the fourth quarter despite having trailed by as much as 14 at their lowest point in the game. Ultimately, the Rockets weren't able to get it done and now they have a litmus test to see exactly where they are.

At the moment, the Rockets are 13-10, good enough for 9th place in the Western Conference, but only 2.5 games back of the No. 2 seed. Houston has the tools to be one of the better teams in the league, but it's clear that they have some work to do before they can officially claim that title.

The Rockets are back in action tonight against the Cavaliers. Tipoff is scheduled for 6 p.m. CT.
