Houston Rockets vs. Oklahoma City Thunder Preview: How to Watch, Injury Reports, Lineups, More

Can the Houston Rockets stop their skid in their next game against the young Oklahoma City Thunder?
In this story:

The Houston Rockets (8-9) will have their first season look at the very young Oklahoma City Thunder (13-6) on Wednesday night in the Toyota Center. The Rockets will be looking to avoid extending their streak of losses to four games.

In their last game, the Rockets lost 107-97 to the Los Angeles Lakers due to the great play from star big man Anthony Davis. He finished with 27 points and 14 rebounds and was the biggest factor in keeping the Rockets winless on the road.

The Rockets will look to use the fact that they are 8-1 at home to their advantage, as they will be taking on one of the most surprising and impressive teams in the NBA so far this season.

This game will be the Rockets' first look at the Thunder, and they will have several different threats to worry about. The Thunder has six players averaging double-digit points, and they are led by All-Star guard Shai Gilgeous-Alexander, who is averaging 30 points per game.

The Rockets will also receive their first look at rookie point-forward Chet Holmgren, who is averaging 17.6 points and 8.0 rebounds.
