Houston Rockets vs. Phoenix Suns Preview: How to Watch, Injury Reports, Lineups, More
The Houston Rockets (25-33) will play the second game of a three-game road trip on Thursday against the Phoenix Suns (34-24) in the Footprint Center. The Rockets will be looking to avoid extending their losing streak, which is at two games.
The Oklahoma City Thunder got the better of the Rockets on Tuesday night with a score of 112-95. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander finished with 31 points and eight rebounds in another MVP-level performance. Despite the loss, the Rockets still had some solid performances.
Center Alperen Sengun was the team's leading scorer with 23 points and tallied up 11 rebounds and six assists. Jabari Smith Jr. also finished with a double-double, racking up 18 points and 13 rebounds. The team will need performances like this if they want to keep up with the star-studded Phoenix Suns.
The Suns are coming off of a solid win against the Los Angeles Lakers where all five of their starters tallied 18 or more points. The key to stopping the Suns is attempting to slow down Devin Booker and Kevin Durant, and that is exactly what the Rockets will be attempting to do.
