LISTEN: Rockets' Alperen Sengun Has 'Monster Game' vs. Clippers

On the latest episode of the Kiss of Death Podcast, Michael Brown and Pops discuss the Houston Rockets' loss to the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Houston Rockets are picking up the pieces after a 122-116 loss to the Los Angeles Clippers on Wednesday night at Toyota Center.

While the Rockets lost, they are certainly thrilled with the effort from third-year pro Alperen Sengun. One night after posting a career-high 45 points, Sengun recorded a triple-double with 23 points, 19 rebounds and 14 assists.

On the latest episode of the Kiss of Death Podcast, Michael Brown and Pops discuss the Houston Rockets' loss to the Los Angeles Clippers and Sengun's performance over the past two nights.

The past two games from Sengun have mirrored the All-Star pace he was on earlier in the season. While the past few weeks have seen a return to earth, he has proven why he has arguably the highest ceiling on the Rockets' roster.

While Sengun probably won't be able to maintain this pace he's set over the past two games, if he can perform at this level more consistently and become a 20-point, 10-rebound a night guy, he should become a cornerstone for the Rockets moving forward.

Sengun and the Rockets are back in action tomorrow night when the team travels to the west coast to take on the Portland Trail Blazers. Tipoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. CT.
