The San Antonio Spurs begin their journey through the NBA's first-ever In-Season Tournament at home tonight when the Minnesota Timberwolves come to town.

The Wolves are off to a hot start this season, winning their last four games including two victories against the Boston Celtics and Denver Nuggets. However, Minnesota is still seeking its first road win, and San Antonio will look to prevent that from happening.

The Spurs are coming into this game with the opposite kind of momentum. San Antonio has lost three consecutive games and hopes that the In-Season Tournament will provide an opportunity to end the skid. In order to do so, No. 1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama will have to outplay his fellow Frenchman in the middle in Rudy Gobert.

The Spurs will also have to find a way to contain Anthony Edwards, who is averaging a team-high 27.9 points per game. Only eight players are averaging more points per game than Edwards, and he is arguably one of the tougher tests the Spurs have had to face so far this season.
