The San Antonio Spurs have the No. 1 pick to take Victor Wembanyama, but they are feeling greedy and are seeking another lottery pick in the days leading up to Thursday's draft.

"There are rumblings that the Spurs are exploring trades for a second lottery pick," The Ringer writes. "I’m not sure how high they are trying to get, but rival executives speculate that they’re targeting one of the Thompson twins or Wembanyama’s own teammate, Bilal Coulibaly."

Coulibaly, a 6-7 wing who turns 19 next month, has been flying up draft boards in recent weeks as Wembanyama and Metropolitans 92 gained more attention in their playoff run, which ended Thursday in a Finals sweep against Monaco.

Coulibaly provides the perfect size for a wing in the modern-day NBA. He can guard multiple positions and is seen as one of the better defenders in the draft. And given his young age, the potential with him is through the roof.

Several teams could look to make a trade out of the lottery, including the Dallas Mavericks at No. 10 and Orlando Magic at No. 11. If the Spurs offered a veteran like Doug McDermott or Zach Collins, along with No. 33 or a future draft pick, perhaps that would entice a team to make the deal.
