The San Antonio Spurs have already made their biggest acquisition of the offseason by drafting Victor Wembanyama with the No. 1 pick, but there is still opportunity to add another piece or two.

Washington Wizards forward Kyle Kuzma faces free agency this summer, and after the departures of Bradley Beal and Kristaps Porzingis, he could be the next to bid farewell to the nation's capital.

Bleacher Report believes that the Spurs could be a viable destination for Kuzma.

"Kuzma has his detractors, but he's championship-tested and might find his next level as a player under Gregg Popovich," Bleacher Report writes. "He's the exact type of player Popovich has thrived at finding the perfect role for over the course of his coaching career."

Kuzma, who turns 28 next month, averaged a career-high 21.2 points and 7.2 rebounds for the Wizards last season, and has potential to be a top-two option for a team. Adding him alongside Wembanyama would give the Spurs another scoring threat and someone to take attention off of the No. 1 pick.

The Spurs also have the third-most cap space behind the Houston Rockets and Utah Jazz. This means that San Antonio could offer Kuzma more money than most, making it difficult for the 2020 NBA champion to consider another destination in free agency.
