The San Antonio Spurs are making a slight change to their roster.

According to NBA insider Chris Haynes, the Spurs are cutting big man Charles Bediako from his two-way contract. Bediako recently tore his meniscus and will be sidelined 6-8 weeks.

A two-year starter at Alabama, Bediako proved to be a strong rim protector for the Crimson Tide. Last season, he and No. 2 overall pick Brandon Miller made for an impressive duo, with Bediako playing low and scoring efficiently from within the arc.

This season with the Austin Spurs, Bediako averaged 7.7 points and 6.9 rebounds in the G League.

With Bediako no longer on the roster, the team has an open two-way spot alongside David Duke Jr. and Dominick Barlow.

The Spurs are back in action tonight, hoping to beat the Portland Trail Blazers for the second night in a row. Tipoff is scheduled for 9 p.m. CT.
