1. BRITNEY VS. WEMBY Controversial pop diva Britney Spears is alleging that she was assaulted by a member of NBA newcomer Victor Wembanyama's security team while in Las Vegas on Wednesday night.

2. DEJOUNTE SIGNS EXTENSION Former San Antonio Spurs guard Dejounte Murray has reason to celebrate tonight.

According to Bleacher Report's Chris Haynes, Murray has signed a four-year, $120 million extension with the Atlanta Hawks.

A year ago, Murray was traded by the Spurs to the Hawks for a package headlined by three first-round draft picks.

3. HE'S NOT A CENTER "However, the Spurs were particular with their wording when they announced the official signing of Wembanyama, who inked a four-year, $55.17 million deal with the team. He was referred to as a "forward."

4. SIDY TO 'VARSITY'? "He may have a role on the "Varsity" this season and goodness knows the Spurs need all the defense they can get after one of their worst seasons on record."

5. VIC'S DEBUT TONIGHT "Spurs and NBA fans alike can expect when to see the French phenom in action. Wembanyama is expected to take the floor against the Hornets on Friday."
