The San Antonio Spurs (2-1) are clinging on to an outside shot at making the Summer League semifinals, but they will have to get past No. 5 overall pick Ausar Thompson and the Detroit Pistons (2-1), who are also still in the running for the fourth and final spot in the postseason.

It remains to be seen which Spurs will suit up for the penultimate game in Las Vegas, but it is for certain that No. 1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama won't make an appearance after he was shut down following the team's loss Sunday against the Portland Trail Blazers.

Malaki Branham, last year's No. 20 overall pick, could be a key contributor for the Spurs, especially considering his performance on Tuesday. After struggling in Sunday's loss, Branham finished with a team-high 29 points on 60 percent shooting in the win.

Other players to watch for the Spurs, should they play, include second-round rookie Sidy Cissoko, and second-year point guard Blake Wesley, two-way forward Dominick Barlow and Summer League standout Julian Champagnie.
