The San Antonio Spurs have washed away their sins as they return to the court well-rested to play the New York Knicks in front of a nationally-televised audience.

The game marks No. 1 overall pick Victor Wembanyama's first appearance at Madison Square Garden as the Spurs take on the Knicks.

The Spurs are coming off two very difficult losses for two very different reasons. San Antonio led by 20 but failed to keep the lead and lost in overtime on Monday against the Toronto Raptors. Then, the next night, the Spurs came out flat and paid the price against the Indiana Pacers.

They'll hope to snap that two-game skid, which is what the Knicks did in their last game on Monday against the Los Angeles Clippers.

The Knicks came into the game having lost two tough games to the Cleveland Cavaliers and Milwaukee Bucks, but bounced back with RJ Barrett leading the way with 26 points. Julius Randle added 27 in a strong performance from him.

We'll see tonight how they handle Wembanyama and if the Spurs can redeem themselves from the poor start to the week.
