In this story:

1. SPURS MOCK DRAFT

"The San Antonio Spurs are still a few weeks away from figuring out where they will pick in the 2023 NBA Draft. However, there's a little more than a 40-percent chance that the Spurs are picking in the top three."

2. SPURS RETURNING TO AUSTIN, MEXICO CITY

The San Antonio Spurs are continuing a tradition built this season.

Bexar County officials approved the Spurs to have the ability to host two games in Austin and one game in Mexico City for next season, just as they did this past year.

The game in Mexico City sold out within 48 hours and the team performed well in its two Austin games earlier this month.

Despite the neutral site games, the Spurs say they are not looking to relocate but rather "expand the brand."

3. MIKE BROWN WINS COACH OF THE YEAR

The NBA announced that Sacramento Kings coach Mike Brown is this year's recipient of the Coach of the Year Award.

Brown led the Kings to a 48-34 record, their best mark in 18 years.

Brown coached with the Spurs as an assistant under Gregg Popovich from 2000-03.

4. THURSDAY NIGHT'S GAMES

Philadelphia 76ers vs. Brooklyn Nets, 7:30 p.m. EST, TNT (76ers lead 2-0)

Sacramento Kings vs. Golden State Warriors, 10:00 p.m. EST, TNT (Kings lead 2-0)

Phoenix Suns vs. Los Angeles Clippers, 10:30 p.m. EST, NBA TV (Series tied 1-1)

5. NBA DRAFT LOTTERY COUNTDOWN

The Spurs are 26 days away from the NBA Draft Lottery, where it will be revealed if San Antonio will have the opportunity to take Victor Wembanyama with the No. 1 overall pick.
