WATCH: Victor Wembanyama Throws Alley-Oop to Himself in Spurs vs. Bucks
Although the San Antonio Spurs continue to be Western Conference bottom-dwellers this season, brighter days are certainly ahead with 19-year-old rookie phenom Victor Wembanyama leading the charge.
This was on full display on Thursday night as the Spurs took on the Milwaukee Bucks at Frost Bank Center in what was a nationally televised game on TNT. Despite former league MVP and champion Giannis Antetokounmpo's Bucks (24-10) having nearly 20 more wins than the Spurs (5-28), Wembanyama gave the Eastern Conference contenders all they could handle.

Not only was Wembanyama scoring at ease, but he was doing so with major style. Early in the second quarter, while having the ball beyond the 3-point line, Wembanyama drove past Antetokounmpo and threw an alley-oop to himself that dropped the jaws of everyone watching the game.
As of the 7:55 mark of the fourth quarter, the Spurs led the Bucks 105-104 with Wembanyama having 23 points, eight rebounds and three blocks in 22 minutes of play. Tune back into InsideTheSpurs.com for extensive postgame coverage throughout the night.
