Phoenix Suns SG Devin Booker had a certain glow to him at the podium. Perhaps that comes natural after dropping 51 points.

Phoenix Suns SG Devin Booker continues to wow basketball fans on a nightly basis.

Booker scoring plenty of points is nothing new, but a 50-burger for Booker in Wednesday's victory over the Chicago Bulls

It was just the fourth time Booker had reached 50 points in his career, and he did so in just three quarters.

According to ESPN Stats and Info, Booker is the second player over the last 25 years with 50 points and 80% shooting through the first three quarters of a game. He joined James Harden who last did it in 2017.

After the win, Booker hit the podium and fielded questions on his historic night. Below you can find a small video and other quotes from his post-game press conference:

Devin Booker Speaks After Insane 51-Point Outing

(On scoring 51 points in three quarters...)

“It feels good. This is one of the nights where it was falling. Those games where I miss a lot of shots, I have to keep shooting them. I train enough where I know I am supposed to make them. Unbelievable screens tonight, unbelievable team game, and beginning to end we played really well.”

(On hitting the three for 50, having a foul called...)

“I figured I was going to come out at the end of the third. A lot of people get on my case when I fall short of 50. I always tell them I have done that before and didn’t win. So, I would rather win, but tonight we got to do both.”

(On what it was like to not be able to keep playing...)

”It is fine when we are winning. I have been there before. I have had 50 before, it is not something that I am shooting for at all. If it happens within the flow of the game. If I have it going, and the team wants to keep playing through me then I’ll do that.”

(On when you knew you were in that zone...)

“You want me to hit the Jevon Carter or KD (Kevin Durant)? When I woke up. There have been a few games, last game in Sac (Sacramento) still feel like I missed a lot of shots I should’ve made. I am always going to feel like that after a game. I keep stressing the screens, even with the double teams and the box-and-one that they threw tonight I still feel like I got really good looks.”

(On how much fun tonight was...)

“It is the best. It’s the best man. They announce it every game, but I don’t know how many sold-out crowds that is in a row, but it is impressive. Mondays, Tuesdays, Saturdays, it doesn’t matter what day of the week it is. They are going to show up and show out. It is fun to be a part of. I think it is a big part of why we have had so much success in our home games this season. Let’s keep it rolling.”
