Devin Booker (Groin) Won't Return vs. Nuggets
Earlier this week, Phoenix Suns shooting guard Devin Booker spoke on how special it is to play on Christmas Day.
"It's a big deal," said Booker.
"Some of my earliest memories of watching basketball are Christmas games. Spending time with your family and now starting. Earlier in my career, not being a part of it and kind of flipping the script, I've been in two now. It's exciting."
In a big meeting with the Denver Nuggets, a win for Phoenix would again establish them as one of the top teams in the West by taking down the squad with the best record in the conference.
If they'll do that, the Suns will successfully complete the task without Booker.
Booker apparently re-injured his groin in the first quarter in Denver. Booker played just four minutes and scored two points. He missed the prior three games with a groin injury after scoring 58 points against the New Orleans Pelicans.
The Suns trail the Nuggets 28-24 after the first quarter.
