Klay Thompson Praises Devin Booker When Reflecting on Viral Scuffle

Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson got real on Paul George's podcast when discussing what happened between him and Devin Booker.

Phoenix Suns guard Devin Booker is known for many things, though his trash talk is near the top of the league along with his ability to score at will.

During one of their meetings last season, Golden State Warriors guard Klay Thompson was ejected during the third quarter of a tightly contested matchup after heavily engaging in some trash talk with Booker.

It was a moment where Thompson admittedly lost his cool, and on Paul George's "Podcast P", he reflected back on that night with some regret.

"I was in my feelings, and [Booker] was busting my ass that day. I was not where I needed to be. Stuff doesn't age well - that didn't age well for me. I don't need to be flexing four rings, bro. Everybody knows that, that's on Wikipedia. My game wasn't where it was at, and we all get insecure at times. I'm man enough to admit we all have our moments of weakness. I'm not really proud of that one," said Thompson before going on to praise Booker.

"Devin Booker - I should be proud of this man, the work he's put in. He survived a tough regime in Phoenix where everyone's getting traded, he's playing for a new coach every year. Now he's a franchise player because he kept working. I admire the guys who have work ethic like that."
