Chris Paul played his first game with the Golden State Warriors on Saturday evening, and turned in a solid showing in a win over the Los Angeles Lakers. Finishing with 6 points, 5 assists, and 4 rebounds in 13 minutes of play, Paul was efficient and effective, which is what Golden State needs from him. After the game, the veteran point guard shared a hilarious reaction to his first game with the Warriors:

Having been a rival of the Warriors almost his entire career, Paul is now on their side. During his time with the Clippers, Paul had some of his first major battles with Golden State. Then joining the Houston Rockets, Paul had even more battles with the Warriors, several of which came in the playoffs. While the Warriors and Suns never faced off in a playoff series during Paul's time in Phoenix, there were some solid regular season battles.

After all of those battles vs. the Warriors, Paul is now happy to have the support of their fanbase. He was certainly one of the more hated rival players by the Warriors fanbase, but they support whoever wears a Warriors jersey, and will stand behind the veteran point guard as long as he is in Golden State.

While the preseason doesn't mean much, this was a solid first showing for Paul.
