Crazy Prediction of Draymond Green Teaming With LeBron James and Luka Doncic
There are crazy predictions, and then there are crazy Bill Simmons predictions. There have been some wild things said this season, but nothing wilder than the claim Simmons made on the most recent episode of The Bill Simmons Podcast.
Simmons believes that somehow, someway, LeBron James, Draymond Green, Luka Doncic, and Kyrie Irving will all team up on the Dallas Mavericks.
“I think he ends up in Dallas,” Simmons said about Draymond Green. “With Kyrie and with Luka and then LeBron tries to figure out a way to get there eventually... I don’t know, I’m just feeling a Dallas scent. There’s some Dallas stuff that feels ‘scenty’ to me.”
That's as far-fetched of a prediction as anyone could have this season. The Dallas Mavericks have been in a bit of a downward spiral this season, with the vibes being horrible. Year by year, the team seems to get worse and worse, and it doesn't seem to be a situation that people want to be a part of. The Los Angeles Lakers actually have a solid roster with great upside if they can keep their momentum going into next season. It feels more likely that Draymond Green, Luka Doncic, or Kyrie Irving would join the Lakers than all of them teaming up on the Dallas Mavericks.
Draymond Green's free agency will likely dominate the off-season this year, so get ready for endless possibilities of conversation.
