Dillon Brooks Blasts Draymond Green and Warriors
It is no secret that the Golden State Warriors and Memphis Grizzlies don't like each other. While the Warriors have dominated the matchup too often for it to be a rivalry, there is definitely a level of animosity that is held by each side. In a recent interview with ESPN's Tim Keown, Grizzlies forward Dillon Brooks went off on Draymond Green and the Warriors, admitting that he likes nothing about them.
"I don't like Draymond at all," Brooks told Keown. "I just don't like Golden State. I don't like anything to do with them. Draymond talks a lot. Gets away with a lot, too. His game is cool -- with Golden State -- but if you put him anywhere else, you're not going to know who Draymond is. He plays with heart, plays hard, knows the ins and outs of their defense. I guess that's why they like him over there."
Not only did Brooks take a shot at Green by suggesting he could not succeed elsewhere, but he also said that Green gets away with stuff that other players do not. While it is unclear exactly what Brooks is referencing, he made it abundantly clear that he does not like Draymond Green or the Golden State Warriors.
Tim Keown added at the end of his story that Green was asked by a Warriors spokesperson for a comment on what Brooks had to say, but Green laughed and chose not to respond.
