Draymond Green Reacts to Warriors Facing Lakers in Playoffs

Draymond Green wants people to appreciate the moment.

The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers are officially facing off in the second round of the NBA Playoffs. Many are used to seeing a LeBron James vs Steph Curry matchup in the NBA Finals, but the gifts came early this year.

There's one thing Draymond Green wants NBA fans to do in regard to this series - appreciate it. Stop looking for the next LeBron James or Steph Curry, and appreciate the ones in front of you.

“Stop trying to turn the page on us so fast," Green said. "Stop trying to turn the page on Bron so fast. We get so caught up in what’s the next thing that we don’t appreciate the current.”

The matchup should be an emotional one for Draymond Green. He gets to go against one of his best friends LeBron James, and relive an NBA Finals rematch.

"You get to the next thing and looking back like 'man, I wish we still had that, I wish we could still see this.' For me, and our guys, we're gonna appreciate this every step of the way," Green added.

It's hard to tell how exactly a Lakers vs Warriors playoff matchup will play out. The Lakers have won three out of the four matchups in the regular season, but obviously, injuries played a huge role in so many of the regular season matches. Regardless of whatever happens, NBA fans are in for a treat.
