The Golden State Warriors are rolling right now, having won their last five games without Steph Curry and Andrew Wiggins. With wins over the Houston Rockets, Minnesota Timberwolves, Portland Trail Blazers, LA Clippers, and now New Orleans Pelicans, Golden State has climbed all the way to 5th in the Western Conference.

Heading into their most recent win, the Warriors were riding a historic performance. After their victory over the Clippers, Golden State became the first team in the shot clock era to come back from a double-digit deficit and win by at least 15 points in consecutive games.

The team is on absolute fire right now, and they will be getting their superstar point guard back on Sunday against the Lakers. If Curry can quickly regain form, the Warriors have positioned themselves to make a real run in the Western Conference.

So much credit goes to Klay Thompson, Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, and others for what the Warriors have been able to accomplish in Steph Curry's absence. Many felt their season may be over when Curry went down with another injury, but the team was able to catch fire and improve their positioning in the Western Conference by the time he was ready to return.

Making a bit of history during this winning streak, the Warriors have not only shown an ability to win without Steph Curry, but they have shown true resilience when down big.
