Injury Report: Golden State Warriors vs Denver Nuggets
The Golden State Warriors face off against the Denver Nuggets that they absolutely need to win as the western conference tightens up. Fortunately for the Warriors, they may be the healthier team as the Nuggets have been slipping.
The Warriors will be missing Andre Iguodala due to left wrist surgery, Ryan Rollins due to right foot surgery, and Andrew Wiggins due to personal reasons. Their main roster of Steph Curry, Draymond Green, Jordan Poole, and Klay Thompson will all be available in this pivotal matchup.
The Denver Nuggets' injury report does not look anywhere near as clean as the Warriors' does. Nikola Jokic is questionable with right calf tightness and Zeke Nnaji is questionable with a right knee sprain. Additionally, Jamal Murray is probable with left knee injury management, Michael Porter Jr. is probable with left heel injury management, and Kentavious Caldwell-Pope is probable with a non-covid illness. The only player listed as out is Collin Gillespie with a right lower leg fracture.
Standings-wise, this is a very important game for the Golden State Warriors. They have the capability of getting into the 4th seed but also have the capability of falling into the 7th seed. The Warriors are 1.5 games away from the 4th seed, but only one game away from the 7th seed. They have to beat the struggling Denver Nuggets.
