Injury Report: Golden State Warriors vs. LA Clippers
Looking to snap their eight-game road losing streak, the Golden State Warriors are in Los Angeles on Wednesday to take on the LA Clippers. These two teams met earlier this month in Golden State, and the Warriors came out with a flurry in the third-quarter to bury a Clippers team that was struggling to find their identity with a new roster. Without Steph Curry in that game, the Warriors were able to make a statement on their home floor, taking down the Clippers while grabbing a 2-1 edge in the season series.
Now with Steph Curry back, the Warriors are still trying to shake their road woes, and will have a good opportunity to do that in LA on Wednesday. Warriors fans always travel well, but this is especially the case in Los Angeles. While Golden State will be on the road, there should be a solid presence of Warriors fans in the building.
As far as injuries are concerned, the Clippers will be mostly healthy in this game, as Norman Powell is their only injury absence. For Golden State, they will have their top talent in Steph Curry, Klay Thompson, and Draymond Green; however, they will be without Andre Iguodala, Andrew Wiggins, Ryan Rollins, and Gary Payton II. After being out for the last three games, young forward Jonathan Kuminga has been upgraded to probable for this game, and is expected to play.
As previously mentioned, this is a big game for both teams. The Clippers and Warriors each need a victory, as they are currently tied for 5th place in the Western Conference.
