With Jordan Poole struggling throughout the season, and especially in the playoffs, some have speculated that his incident with Draymond Green before the season may have impacted his performance this year. When asked on Saturday about the impact Green's punch had on this season, Poole said he did not believe it changed anything.

"I mean, we made it to the second round of the playoffs," Poole said. "We had a good season, guys stepped up and had a lot of exciting moments. I don't think there was anything that was changing any of that."

Poole was unable to get anything going offensively in these playoffs, which was especially disappointing after he elevated his game during last year's title run. The Warriors were in desperate need of additional offensive firepower outside of Steph Curry, and Poole was unable to provide any of that in this postseason.

Not looking to blame Draymond Green for the up and down season the Warriors experienced, Poole has continued to reiterate that their incident is in the past, and not something that directly impacted the season. The Warriors understand that they need to play better, and that just did not happen in this second round series.

Golden State will now go back to the drawing board this summer and future out what moves make the most sense for their franchise.
