Latest Update on Warriors Getting Steph Curry Help Via Trade

The Golden State Warriors could have an opportunity to get Steph Curry some help

Golden State Warriors star Steph Curry has been incredible to start the season, but he has had very little help. Through 24 games, Curry is the only Warriors player averaging more than 16 PPG. Currently sitting at 28.6 PPG on impressive efficiency, Curry's next highest scoring teammate is Klay Thompson who is averaging 16.0 PPG on relatively poor efficiency.

Beginning to recognize that they will need more production around Curry than they have right now, the Warriors are reportedly already receiving calls from potential sellers in the NBA trade market.

In a recent report, ESPN's Adrian Wojnarowksi said, "I know a few general managers who lobbed calls to Mike Dunleavy Jr. in the last few days, and a lot of teams are starting to talk, they're starting to trade ideas about what interest they have in certain players."

Wojnarowksi added, "This is going to be an interesting trade deadline. I think there's so many teams right now who think they're in position to be pretty good, and then the teams who are at the bottom of the standings - they're going to put a great premium on giving up some of their players... I think the asking price for good players at this trade deadline, like often, is going to be high, but I think Mike Dunleavy and Golden State - I think they're going to be very open to try and improve this team."

Already receiving calls from potential trade partners, the Warriors could have different options to get Curry some help.
