LeBron James' Injury Status for Lakers vs. Warriors Game 5 Revealed
The Golden State Warriors find themselves in very unfamiliar territory tonight. It's do-or-die time against the Los Angeles Lakers, and the Warriors are one loss away from elimination. They're going to have to get by LeBron James, too
The Los Angeles Lakers have officially listed LeBron James as probable with right foot soreness against the Golden State Warriors for Game 5. James has been listed with the same injury all playoffs and he's played in every single game, so it's safe to say that he's playing tonight against the Warriors.
LeBron James has played a solid series against the Warriors, but nothing really stands out. In four games, he's averaging 23.3 points, 8.8 rebounds, and 5.3 assists on 45/28/88 shooting. In all honesty, it may be one of the worst playoff series he's ever been in, but the Lakers are still winning 3-1 despite that. It truly shows how deep they are, and how not deep the Warriors, when looking at how this series has played out. Whether it's Lonnie Walker, Austin Reaves, or Anthony Davis, the Lakers keep having someone else play the role of the hero so that LeBron James doesn't have to. For the Golden State Warriors, it's only been Steph Curry or Klay Thompson.
The Golden State Warriors and Los Angeles Lakers face off at 10:00 ET tonight. It's win or go home for the Warriors.
