The Los Angeles Lakers eliminated the Golden State Warriors in Game 6 on Friday night, blowing them out to clinch a Western Conference Finals date with the Denver Nuggets. LeBron James was fantastic in the closeout effort, and made NBA history in route to the series-clinching win. With his 2,509th career postseason rebound, James passed Shaquille O'Neal for 4th all-time in playoff rebounds.

James has always been known for his all-around game, and his statistical ranks in both regular season and postseason play help illuminate his greatness in every facet basketball. Already the NBA's all-time leading scorer, James can impact the game in so many different ways, and that was on full display in this series.

Now set to face a Denver Nuggets team that was the Western Conference's first seed, the Lakers have another tough task on their hands after eliminating the defending champion Warriors. It has been a wild year for the Lakers, who in many ways were able to revive what looked like a lost season. Now in the Western Conference Finals, they are one series win away from getting back to the NBA Finals after winning the championship in 2020.

While LeBron James was has not been the same scorer in these playoffs that he's been throughout his career - albeit still a dominant threat, the star forward is finding ways to impact winning in several different ways.
