During a recent appearance on the Dan Patrick Show, Milwaukee Bucks champion Pat Connaughton shut down the popular narrative that Steph Curry can't be the greatest point guard of all time because he "isn't" a point guard.

"I think at the end of the day, Steph has the ball more than Draymond [Green] when it comes to crunch time, putting the team in certain situations," Connaughton said.

When presented with a counterargument about Green leading the Warriors in assists, Connaughton said, "Just because Steph may not lead his team in assists, does that still not define him as a point guard if he's able to pass the ball and be second, third on his team in assists? Because we saw point guards on our team that don't lead the team in assists."

On the Curry vs. Magic debate, Connaughton added, "I lean towards Steph, but I'd put Magic second on my list."

Having guarded Curry, Connaughton knows how unstoppable he is. When asked what that is like, the Bucks champion added, "It's really hard, it's really exhausting. He never stops moving. I know you guys have probably seen the clips, but he always moves. When he passes the ball he actually moves faster."

Pushing back against the idea that Curry isn't a point guard, Connaughton believes the Golden State Warriors star is the greatest point guard ever.
