NBA Legend Makes Wild Statement About Jamal Murray
Jamal Murray is one of the most underrated players in the NBA, but it seems like those days may be over. Now that Murray has won an NBA Championship, it looks like people are ready to defend his skill, even to a somewhat ridiculous degree.
NBA Hall of Famer Tim Hardaway Sr. appeared on The Carton Show where he claimed that Jamal Murray is currently a better point guard than Steph Curry.
"For real, right now he's the best point guard in the NBA," Tim Hardaway Sr said. "They won the NBA Championship because of him, and without him, last year, they didn't win it, and they lost to the Golden State Warriors. For them to win, he's the best point guard in the NBA right now."
Make no mistake, Jamal Murray is certainly an underrated NBA player. He deserves to be an All-Star and arguably deserves more credit for the Denver Nuggets' success during these playoffs. However, he doesn't have anywhere near the gravity that Steph Curry has. Still, Hardaway Sr. believes that Murray will carry the Nuggets to a dynasty.
"Murray has to be on that team for them to be a dynasty," Hardaway Sr explained. "So, how else they going to be a dynasty? Are they going to be a dynasty without him?"
While Jamal Murary is trying to help the Nuggets become a dynasty, Steph Curry has already created one.
