Nuggets Reveal Nikola Jokic's Official Injury Status vs. Warriors

Denver Nuggets star Nikola Jokic is on the injury report vs. the Golden State Warriors

Every game is important at this point in the NBA season, and that is especially true for the Golden State Warriors. The Western Conference standings remain tightly contested, and the Warriors enter play on Sunday as the 5th seed. 

Golden State currently sits a half-game above the LA Clippers, and 1.5 games behind the Phoenix Suns. While the Warriors control their own destiny to finish in the top-six, they are only one loss ahead of the 7th seed Pelicans and the 8th seed Lakers. This puts pressure on the Warriors to continue winning games in order to avoid the play-in tournament. 

Set to face the Denver Nuggets on Sunday night, the Warriors are waiting to see whether or not star center Nikola Jokic will be available for Denver. The Nuggets currently have Jokic on the injury report, and they have revealed his official status to be questionable for this game. It is right calf tightness that has Jokic on the injury report, and his final status will likely be updated shortly before game time. 

This game is also important for the Nuggets, as they have a chance to put a real grip on the first seed with the Memphis Grizzlies losing to the Chicago Bulls earlier today. As for right now, all eyes are on the status of Nikola Jokic for this game vs. the Warriors.
